In order to do a good job in ensuring the resumption of work and production of foreign-funded enterprises, the discipline work committee of the district adopts the special method to inspect logistics channels, traffic checkpoints, key enterprises and other places, and discovers and corrects problems through special supervision and on-site supervision.

"While assisting enterprises to strictly prevent the import of overseas epidemics, we actively help German-funded enterprises to solve the difficulties in resuming work and production, and increase supervision over the implementation of the 'Eight Benefits' policy such as the resumption of work and production and the landing of major foreign-funded projects." Wang Weijun said that the "Eight Benefits" is a special fund of 50 million yuan specially set up by the city's high-tech zone to support the development of enterprises, which provides policy and financial support for enterprises (foreign-funded enterprises) in resuming work and production, returning employees to work, and stabilizing production and operation.

According to reports, German enterprises in Taicang are mainly concentrated in high-end equipment manufacturing, automotive core components, energy conservation and environmental protection and other industrial fields, and a number of German enterprises have also established R&D centers and regional headquarters in Taicang. Since February, the city has successively issued a series of policies and measures to support foreign-funded enterprises to resume work and production, such as the "Fifteen Policies and Measures to Support the Stable Development of Foreign Trade Enterprises" and the "Detailed Rules for the Implementation of Financial Policies for Supporting Enterprise Development", actively creating conditions for foreign-funded enterprises, reducing costs and burdens. At present, a number of major projects such as the second and third phases of the Taicang Brose Automotive Parts Co., Ltd., which was invested and established by the German Brose Group, have been concentrated on resuming construction and production.
